Valentown

Picture of ValentownValentown was built by Levi Valentine in 1879 to be an building with shops and offices. When a railroad that he thought would be running nearby never materialized, he abandoned the building. It went though various owners including Sheldon Fisher who loved to collect a variety of items. He turned the building into a museum. Today it continues to be a museum run by the Victor Historical Society. Tours are given from May until September. They show all three stories of the building and the rooms filled with collections of objects from the past centuries. The building is rumored to be haunted. It certainly does have an old spooky look and feel.
